Father Cancro Italy Tour ~ October 4-14, 2010

PRICE: The cost of this tour is $3,950 from Charlotte, North Carolina, including airline taxes and tips. However, airline taxes are subject to change until ticketed. Any increase above $97 USD will be billed to the passenger. Please note, all costs reflect our cash discount and are valid only if payment is made by cash or check. Price is based on exchange rates in effect as of January 1, 2010 and is subject to change. Price is also based on a minimum of twenty-five passengers in this group. If number falls below twenty-five (25) passengers, a price adjustment will be necessary.

TRANSPORTATION: Via jet economy class from Charlotte to Rome and return from Venice to Charlotte. Tickets must be completed 35 days prior to departure. Tickets cannot be changed once issued. Deviations or stopovers are not permissible.

HOTELS: First Class and superior hotels throughout, plus guest house in Assisi. Prices are based on two persons sharing a twin-bedded room. Single rooms subject to availability at an additional cost of $550. If a passenger cannot supply a roommate and Tour Operator is unable to do so, or your roommate cancels before departure, the passenger will have to pay the supplemental charge. (Insurance for this eventuality is available and is recommended.)

OTHER INCLUSIONS: As stated on the reverse side of Father Cancro’s brochure, included herein and made a part hereof.

NOT INCLUDED: Items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, laundry, meals and beverages other than those specified as being included; passport or visa costs; airport and government taxes; food and beverages (including coffee and tea) not usually included with regular table d'hôte meals; optional tours and excursions not mentioned in this itinerary; health, medical, trip cancellation/interruption, accident or baggage insurance; transporting and handling excess luggage. Any increase in airline taxes/fuel surcharges above the $97 that is included, will be billed to passenger accordingly as these cannot be guaranteed until ticketing.

INSURANCE: Trip Cancellation/Medical and Emergency Evacuation Insurance IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. By special arrangement with Travelex Insurance, Tour Operator is offering a very low-price, comprehensive insurance package for this group. In addition, retail travel insurance packages are also available or insurance may be purchased through your preferred carrier. Additional information and application forms for all types of coverage will be supplied to you upon registration. Please note: Medicare does not cover you outside the United States; therefore, we recommend additional health coverage while you are out of the U.S.A.

DOCUMENTATION: A valid passport is required for entrance into Italy and must be obtained by each tour member. A passport must be good for at least six months beyond your travel date. Visas are not required for Italy for a stay of less than 3 months.

REGISTRATION & DEPOSIT: A reservation for this tour is required in writing along with deposit to be confirmed. Registrations must be received by June 25, 2010.  Please complete reservation form and return with your deposit of USD $300 per person made payable to Knight Travel, Inc. and mailed to KNIGHT TRAVEL, INC., P O BOX 470067, Charlotte, NC 28247. Payment may be made by check or credit card. However, if paying by credit card, a 3.5% processing fee will be added to your total invoice.

PAYMENTS: Final payments should be made payable to KNIGHT TRAVEL, INC. and must be received sixty (60) days prior to departure. NOTE: ALL reservations not fully paid by the sixty-day deadline are subject to cancellation, for which Tour Operator is not to be held responsible. Payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions listed herein.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: All cancellations must be received in writing. If a passenger cancels his/her tour membership for any reason, there will be a cancellation fee of one hundred dollars ($100) to cover administrative and communication costs. Cancellations received:

  • 120-90 days prior to departure, passenger will incur a $200 per person cancellation fee, plus incurred costs
  • 89-60 days prior to departure, passenger will incur a $300 per person cancellation fee, plus incurred costs
  • 59-30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour price penalty will be incurred.
  • Within 30 days of departure, costs are non-refundable. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is available and is highly recommended.

LUGGAGE: Luggage travels at the risk of the passenger and tour operator is not responsible for any delay of, loss or damage to it or its contents. Insurance is recommended. Price includes the handling of one piece of average-sized luggage per person.

LIABILITY: TOUR OPERATOR and its agents, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, including any person or entity employed or utilized by Tour Operator in any country cannot be responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or expense resulting from events beyond it’s control, including, without limitation, acts of God, war, strikes, incidents of politically-motivated violence, terrorism sickness or quarantine, government restrictions or regulations, and, in the absence of its own gross negligence, arising from the use of any vehicle, or from Tour Operator's selection of, or from any act or omission by any bus or car rental agency, steamship, airline, railroad, taxi or tour service, hotel, restaurant, or other firm, agency or company or individual. The Tour Operator reserves the right to decline, to accept and/or to retain any person as a member of this tour at any time and a refund for the unused portion of the tour is the limit of its liability in such an instance. Payment of the deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions listed herein.
