Day 2, Tuesday, Feb. 28: SHALOM! We arrive this afternoon at Tel Aviv’s NEW Ben Gurion Airport. After arrival formalities, we board our deluxe motor coach and tour the ancient port of Jaffa. We see Simon the Tanner’s house and the unique artists’ shops here before checking into our hotel on the Mediterranean Sea in Tel Aviv. After dinner at our hotel, enjoy walking the promenade along the Sea, just outside our hotel.

Day 3, Wednesday, Mar. 01: This morning be prepared for an unbelievable Israeli, buffet breakfast. Next, we drive north along the fertile Sharon Valley to the excavations at Caesarea. We see its ancient seaport and Roman theatre. We then drive further up the coast to the port of Haifa and Mt. Carmel. We next visit Tel Megiddo and the Valley of Armageddon before arriving at our hotel in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee for dinner and overnight.  After dinner we will see the very informative multi-media presentation of the history of Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area called The Galilee Experience.

Day 4, Thursday, Mar. 02: Our first visit this morning is the museum at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar that houses the 2,000 year-old fishing boat that was discovered in the Sea of Galilee several years ago during a drought. We next journey across the sea by boat to Capernaum. We visit the Mt. of the Beatitudes and then drive through the Golan Heights to Caesarea Philippi at the foot of Mt. Hermon. We end our day at the baptismal site on the Jordan River.

Day 5, Friday, Mar. 03: This morning we drive through the Jordan River Valley to Bet She’an for a tour of this truly amazing and extremely historical archaeological site. Next we drive by Jericho and view the Mount of Temptation. We then “GO UP TO JERUSALEM!” On the way, we take a short side trip to view St. George’s Monastery before continuing to the Holy City. Time permitting, we will journey to En Kerem to see the newly discovered “John the Baptist’s Cave.” We check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6, Saturday, Mar. 04: Today we drive to the top of the Mount of Olives for a spectacular panoramic view of Jerusalem. We then take the Palm Sunday Path to the Garden of Gethsemane. We visit the Church of St. Anne and the Pool of Bethesda. We make our way to the Sisters of Zion Convent and visit the site of Pilate’s judgment area in Antonio’s Fortress. We actually see the pavement on which He may have walked. We continue down the Via Dolorosa and later visit the Temple Mount (if possible), the Western Wall and the Ophel excavations at the Southern Steps of the Wall. Dinner at our hotel.

Day 7, Sunday, Mar. 05: This morning we begin our day at Mount Zion. We will tour the Upper Room and see the Tomb of King David. We will walk to the House of Caiphas, then later the Roman Cardo to see this remarkable area and the large golden menorah all in the Jewish Quarter of the New City of Jerusalem. We will tour the Rabbi’s Tunnel which passes through almost 2,000 years of Jerusalem’s history.

Day 8, Monday, Mar. 06: This morning we drive out to Massada and the Dead Sea. We go by tram to the top of Masada, the spectacular Herodian fortress. Masada was Herod’s royal citadel and later the last outpost of Zealots during the Jewish Revolt. The citadel was a site of the most dramatic and symbolic act in Jewish history, where rebels chose mass suicide rather than submit to Roman capture and slavery. We then visit the area of the Ein Gedi waterfalls where David hid from Saul. We stop at the Dead Sea where those who wish may “float” in its unbelievably dense mineral waters. At some point today we will visit the factory where skin products from the Dead Sea are manufactured to give you an opportunity to purchase these great products. We journey on to Qumran and view the caves where a Bedouin shepherd boy found the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1947. We return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 9, Tuesday, Mar. 07: Today on our final day in Jerusalem, we visit Yad Va’Shem -- the Museum of the Holocaust, Mt. Hertzel -- the military cemetery, and the Shrine of the Book Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed. We will complete our day at the Garden Tomb, view Golgotha and have a special time of communion, praise and worship.

Day 10, Wednesday, Mar. 08: Early this morning we drive to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport where we board our flight to London. After a plane change in London, we continue on to the U.S. We return with new friends and memories to last a lifetime.
